Hydration - Tips to keep your health in Summer

Summer tours are fun but staying hydrated is tricky during the summertime with all the outdoor and beach activities. Your body tries to cool down by sweating, which makes you lose water, which is why most of our poolside snacks should be water based.

There are several ways to stay hydrated. First, we need to accept that hydration starts from the inside. Moisturizing your skin is very important, but if your body’s water level isn’t optimum, then there’s no point. Drink at least two liters of water daily; most of us sip on Americanos all day that we forget that coffee is a diuretic. To encourage yourself to drink more, infuse your water with something refreshing like mint, cucumber, slices of lemon or oranges. Amp up your style game by investing in a see-through water bottle which you can carry around to boost your hydration!

Another way to slip in water is by eating it! How? Munch on water-rich foods such as watermelon, kiwi, tomatoes, and cucumbers. When it comes to sodium – it’s a tricky issue – too much salt is bad, too little is also bad. Limit your sodium intake to healthy mineral salts such as rock salt and Himalayan salt. Watch your water intake and stay healthy this summer.

Healthy eating has always been associated with losing weight and improving your physical state, when in reality, healthy eating also helps improve mental health.

Studies have found that adolescents and young people with healthy diets are about 50% less likely to have depression compared to those with a highjunk and processed foods diet, who are 80% more likely to have depression. Food diet is linked to the hippocampus, which is a key area of the brain involved in learning, memory, and mental health. People with healthy diets have a higher hippocampal volume than those with unhealthy diets

Healthy Diet:

A healthy diet includes a full range of vegetables, fruits, legumes (lentils, chickpeas, and beans), fish, chicken, whole grains (rice, quinoa, oats, breads, etc.), nuts, avocados and olive oil to support a healthy brain.

It has been found that people who have a high diet in whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, legumes, fish and unsaturated fats (like olive oil) are 35% less likely to develop depression rather than people who eat less of these foods.Peoplewho suffered from depression experienced full relief of their symptoms after improving their diet.

The experts at India Gate provide a breakdown guide on certain foods which help improve mental health.

Zaatar:

A favourite amongst the people of this region, this spice mixture is a blend of sesame seeds, sumac, oregano and thyme. This is why it is extremely good for the brain, since both oregano and thyme contain a compound called carvalo, which helps in boosting the brain cells.

Quinoa:

A grain that is known to be rich in Iron and other essential nutrients. Iron plays a very important role, due to its basis of haemoglobin formation and transportation of oxygen to and from different cells. The brain often takes up 20 percent of the total blood oxygen thus triggering its functions.

Other benefits of the Quinoa Iron include the synthesis of neurotransmitters, which are of great aid in brain chemical balance. Riboflavin (B2) is essential in boosting energy metabolism within the brain cells, this is another reason quinoa is great for you, as it has high levels of B2.

4 Methods to Clear Your Debts

Everyone is determined to be free of debt, right? Moreover, if you have any outstanding educational, personal and credit card loans. It's even more unfortunate if you're forced to bury your family's debt. But before you approach the debts, take note of these four financial principles and practice your 'phobia' for debt.

1: Buy in cash
Stop and keep all transactions called ansurans, buy first pay later, easy payment scheme and so on. If you are in debt, that means you have not been able to buy the goods. So, keep the money up enough, just buy.

2: Live under the ability, not in abilities
Purchase the need, not the ability, not to mention the will. If you can afford a local car, just use it first. Forget temporarily the word 'chic' in life until you are really able to 'stylish'. The saying 'let the fashionable papa' have not been used anymore. For me, let's not be stylish, as long as your pocket is rich!

3: Start saving a little bit
It's okay, as long as it's save - even just $ 20 a month. Keep the paycheck up to the account and do not wait for more money at the end of the month. If you can not save $ 20 a month, you can save $ 2 a day and go into a special fund or account. At the end of the month, you'll have $ 60 in your bank account. No matter what the amount is, it's important that you have to save.

4: Find a side income
Get involved in the business, but not rich quick schemes. Assume the salary as money for the months, and the business as a source for increased savings. Save business results one hundred percent. If you want to use it, do not over 50 percent! The money of the business is proven to make you free from debt.
